Our team was hosted at the stand of the Agricultural University of Athens, where we had the opportunity to present our vision and ongoing work at the intersection of biosensing technologies, artificial intelligence, and the One Health approach for the agri-food sector.

During the exhibition, Key2Core showcased its innovative research and development activities focused on rapid, field-deployable diagnostic tools for agriculture, food safety, and environmental monitoring. These technologies aim to support farmers, food producers, and public health stakeholders through faster detection of pathogens and contaminants, improved decision-making, and enhanced sustainability across the food chain.

The Agrotica fair—organized at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center in Thessaloniki—provided an excellent platform for dialogue with researchers, industry representatives, farmers, and policy stakeholders interested in the future of smart agriculture and food system resilience.

Key2Core is proud to announce the publication of its landmark scientific paper in the reknown Healthcare journal (MDPI) that delivers the first comprehensive, up-to-date global framework on pharmacy-based Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) services. This study represents the most integrated policy-oriented synthesis to date on how pharmacies can evolve into decentralized diagnostic hubs, reshaping primary healthcare delivery, accelerating early disease detection, and strengthening system resilience.

Beyond a scientific review, the paper is designed to serve as a policy blueprint for governments, regulators, and healthcare stakeholders, outlining pathways to transform pharmacies into critical pillars of modern, data-driven, community-centered healthcare systems.

At Key2Core, we view this publication as a strategic step toward disrupting the primary healthcare landscape, enabling scalable, AI-supported POCT solutions, integrated decision-support systems, and citizen-centric health monitoring aligned with the One Health paradigm.

Η Key2Core ανακοινώνει με υπερηφάνεια τη δημοσίευση της εμβληματικής επιστημονικής της εργασίας στο διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένο περιοδικό Healthcare (MDPI), η οποία παρουσιάζει το πρώτο ολοκληρωμένο και επικαιροποιημένο παγκόσμιο πλαίσιο για τις υπηρεσίες επιτόπιων διαγνωστικών τεστ (Point-of-Care Testing - POCT) μέσω φαρμακείων. Η μελέτη αυτή αποτελεί την πιο ολοκληρωμένη μέχρι σήμερα σύνθεση πολιτικής σχετικά με τον τρόπο με τον οποίο τα φαρμακεία μπορούν να εξελιχθούν σε αποκεντρωμένους διαγνωστικούς κόμβους, αναδιαμορφώνοντας την παροχή πρωτοβάθμιας φροντίδας υγείας, επιταχύνοντας την έγκαιρη ανίχνευση νοσημάτων και ενισχύοντας την ανθεκτικότητα των συστημάτων υγείας.

Πέρα από μια επιστημονική ανασκόπηση, η εργασία έχει σχεδιαστεί ως στρατηγικός οδικός χάρτης για κυβερνήσεις, ρυθμιστικές αρχές και φορείς υγείας, σκιαγραφώντας συγκεκριμένες διαδρομές για τη μετατροπή των φαρμακείων σε κρίσιμους πυλώνες των σύγχρονων, δεδομενοκεντρικών και κοινοτικά προσανατολισμένων συστημάτων υγείας.

Στην Key2Core θεωρούμε αυτή τη δημοσίευση στρατηγικό βήμα προς τη ριζική αναδιαμόρφωση της πρωτοβάθμιας φροντίδας υγείας, επιτρέποντας την ανάπτυξη κλιμακούμενων λύσεων POCT με υποστήριξη τεχνητής νοημοσύνης, ολοκληρωμένων συστημάτων υποστήριξης αποφάσεων και πολιτοκεντρικών μοντέλων παρακολούθησης υγείας, ευθυγραμμισμένων με το υπόδειγμα της Ενιαίας Υγείας.
